Uplift Nursery and Primary School

Our Story

Uplift secondary school commenced classes on the 11/9/2000 with the students' enrolment of 32 Jss 1 students. Iwambe Victoria Hembadoon was the first student to be admitted. Mr. Akor I. Vincent was the pioneer Principal of the School. The school began with a staff strength of six academic staff.
Today the students population has impressively increased as the college no longer runs one class but several arms up to Senior Secondary School classes (SS1-3) as from Sept, 2013 to date.
The college turned out her first set of JSS 3 under the leadership of Mr. Tule Gabriel when the leadership was reshuffled on the 25th Sept, 2002. All this while, the writing of WAEC, NECO, BECE and MOCK for SS3 and SS2 respectively was from the neighboring schools.
Mr. Tule Gabriel of blessed memory contributed greatly to the development of the school up to the year 2017 when he served as principal.
Subsequent principals were Mrs. Ogbeji Lydia, Mr.Igber Goodwin T., Mr. Akor Vincent and Mr. Ahile Gbakorun (the current principal).
